Too much of our industry operates in the shadows. We believe the project can go a long way to shift the industry in the direction of content, gaming, music, and software, which can feel more transparent and open.
How do you make money?
We don't. We operate the site as a kind of open-source project for our fellow writers!

How does the algorithm work?
We publish a methodology here. If you have a technical background and would like to add to the algorithms, please reach out.
Is the score biased in any way?
No, that's the beauty in it! The AI is truly unbiased. We don't feed in any information about the writer or the subject matter to taint any scores.
If I don't like my score, can I re-upload?
Please don't. It won't change the score. Only upload a script once it's polished, and you don't intend to make any changes.
You know that feeling you get after you've edited a script a hundred times and just want to move on to the next project? Only then should a script be uploaded.
Our algorithms will recognize a duplicate script, even if it has some modifications.
Can I upload more than one script?
Please don't. We have to pay the LLMs every time a script is analyzed. Right now, the site operates on a sort of Writer's Code of Honor.
Please only upload your best script. If you are unsure what your best script is, please ask a friend :)
If you write for both TV and film, it is acceptable to upload a best script in each category.
Can I come back at a later date with a new script?
Sure! If it's now your very best script, by all means. We know that writing is an iterative process, and sometimes your best work is yet to come!
By default, you are allowed to come back every 90 days with a new best script. This should give you enough time to come up with something amazing!
What happens to my script once I upload it?
We flush it out of our cache and the LLM's memory. It's a one and done analysis.
Can I receive a more detailed analysis of my script?
No, the analysis is purposefully simplified. The purpose of the site is for discovery of new writers and competitive benchmarking. Spending a ton of money on AI tokens for a detailed analysis would do little to advance these goals.
If you would like a detailed analysis, we recommend uploading it to a few free AI models with an applicable prompt.
Why use AI for the scoring?
There are many reasons: it removes the subjectivity of a human scorer, everyone is judged on the same criteria, the writing quality is all that matters, the scoring is done quickly, the model can be open-sourced, and the model can be adjusted over time as LLMs become more powerful.
It is our belief that the industry needs to embrace AI, not fight it. This is a great use for it.
Can I upload an AI created script?
No. The platform is for human writers only.
AI scripts will be rejected. Uploading an AI created script is not going to increase your score anyway.
Is there a way for industry members to get updates on new hot scripts?
Yes. We have a monthly newsletter that you can sign up for on the footer of the site. You can get a list of new entrants into the top of each category that you follow.
